Hollister Co. Painted Letters Typeface

Generated 30 new characters for Abercrombie and Fitch’s Hollister C0. brand painted letters typeface. Design required painting the 30 new characters based on the look of Trade Gothic Bold Condensed no. 20. The client supplied us with the rest of the 35 characters as layered Photoshop files. Using the BitFonter software, all the individual characters were combined into a PhotoFont, where we could fine-tune the letter-spacing, kerning pairs and transparency. The end result was a PhotoFont that the client could use with InDesign to type out lines of text for in-store marketing collateral.
