Fintech company providing commercial loan software-enabled services to credit unions and small banks. As manager of the design team, updated and improved the software called BLAST used by BAFS and their clients. Designed corporate projects including bafs.com, trade show exhibits, and brand collateral. Hired as the first designer at BAFS, then recruited another designer who reported to me for 2.5 years. I had as many as five designers reporting to me as we took on contractors to complete a full redesign of the BLAST platform.

  • Guided product design team with group feedback sessions, peer reviews, one-on-ones, and a best-practices playbook.
  • Led stakeholder workshops to gain insights and approvals.
  • Owned the BAFS brand with logo variations, secondary graphics, color palette, and guidelines.
